Radiant Logistics, Inc. (NYSE: RLGT) is a public company launched in October of 2005 to build a global transportation and supply chain management company through organic growth and the strategic acquisition of best-of-breed, non-asset based transportation and logistics providers. The company operates services for its customers through its wholly owned operating subsidiary, Radiant Global Logistics, Inc.
Radiant Global Logistics and its operating divisions, Adcom Worldwide (founded in 1978), Airgroup (founded in 1987), Distribution By Air (founded in 1981), On Time Express Inc. (founded in 1982) and Wheels Group Inc. offer its customers and overseas partners domestic and international freight forwarding as well as an expanding array of value added supply chain management services.
Radiant purchased Airgroup in 2006, extending the opportunity for shared ownership and liquidity across its agent-based forwarding community, and set in motion one of the fastest growing logistics networks in North America.
With the 2008 acquisition of Adcom Worldwide and the 2011 acquisition of Distribution By Air, the Radiant Global Logistics family now extends to a network of over 100 Stations across North America, representing a combination of company owned and exclusive agent offices operating under the Airgroup, Adcom Worldwide and some Radiant Logistics brands. We intend to pursue an aggressive strategy of growth through acquisitions, as well as the expansion of our services and account base.
